Meet the ladies who keep the Beta Upsilon chapter running.
Chapter President - Elle Eilert
Elle Eilert is our President and she is from Beloit, KS. She is majoring in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics. As President she is head of the executive departments and ensures that our chapter is running smoothly as well as exceeding expectations. In her “free time” she enjoys being with friends and family, reading, crafting, running and cooking. On campus, she is also involved in Student Foundation and Saint Isidore’s. Elle says “I love how real Gamma Phi is. These women are genuine, goofy, kind, and loving. I love them to pieces and am honored to serve them!”
Administrative Vice President - Caroline Barber
Caroline Barber is our Administrative Vice President and she is Wichita, KS. She is majoring in Organizational Management with a minor in Leadership Studies and a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership. As Administrative Vice President, she has to be knowledgeable about the Order of the Crescent, as well as the standing rules and bylaws. In addition, she compiles monthly officer reports and run an administrative department under her position. One of her biggest tasks is coordinating elections for both appointed and elected positions. Most importantly, she assists the President in any way she can. Caroline also serves as an Ambassador for the Staley School of Leadership Studies and is a member of Women in Business. “GPhi has brought me some of the best friendships and opportunities that will last a lifetime. I am so excited to work with this executive team and serve our chapter this year as Administrative Vice President!”
Education Vice President - Alyssa Flower
Alyssa Flower serves as our Education Vice President. Alyssa is from Topeka, KS and is majoring in Elementary Education. As Education Vice President her duties are to plan sisterhood events, chapter enrichment programs, senior celebration week, work with the new member education program, scholarship program, and promote our rituals. “Walking, driving around town, listening to music, and shopping are some of my favorite things to do. I am also involved in the Fraternity and Sorority Life Office and I work at the KSU Foundation as a Student Fundraiser. I love Gamma Phi because of the opportunities it has given me. From friendships to life lessons to professionalism, this house has given me more than I have ever deserved. I am most thankful for the women I have met here and the women I will meet in the next two years.”
Financial Vice President - Alison Wilson
Alison Wilson is our Financial Vice President. Alison is from Pritchett, CO and is majoring in AgriBusiness. As Financial Vice President, her responsibilities include paying all of Gamma Phi’s bills as well as billing members for their purchases throughout the year. She also manages our semester and yearly budget and determines how money is allocated to each department within the chapter. “Whenever I have free time I love to go to coffee shops, hang out with my friends, play volleyball and basketball, and explore Manhattan. I try to stay involved on campus through my engagement with Gamma Phi, Turning Point USA, and Christian Challenge.” Alison says what she loves about Gamma Phi is that all of the women in our chapter are so unique and true to themselves. “There isn’t a single girl in our house that won't support you when times are tough, or celebrate your accomplishments after you put in the hard work”.
Public Relations Vice President - Clarissa Kiefer
Clarissa Kiefer is our Public Relations Vice President and she is from Basehor, KS. Clarissa is a Marketing major with a certificate in Data Analytics. As the Public Relations Vice President, she strives to represent Gamma Phi in the best way possible to the community, as our sisterhood strives for the highest type of womanhood. This is done through coordinating social events and activities, philanthropy events supporting Girls on the Run, as well as overseeing each social media platform run by Gamma Phi members. At Kansas State Clarissa is a College of Business Ambassador, Silver Key Sophomore Honorary, and involved in Women of Business. “I love being creative and making the most out of the small things in life! I look forward to working with the women in my department to create a fun and exciting experience for all members. I love this entire chapter with my whole heart, and have made so many everlasting friendships from this experience!”
Membership Vice President - Emily Jensen
Emily Jensen is our Membership Vice President. Emily is from Olathe, KS and she is majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in Leadership Studies. MVP’s main role is to execute Fall Primary Panhellenic Recruitment, Continuous Open Bidding, and to lead the chapter in recruiting the most amazing women! “I am in the pre physical therapy club, in my free time I love to hangout with my friends, read and workout! Gamma phi is a place where I am surrounded by people who push me to be the best version of myself that I can. I can always count on all the girls to support me when I need it most and I am forever grateful for the friendships I have made throughout my experience here!”
Panhellenic Vice President - Grace Green
Grace Green serves as our Panhellenic Affairs Vice President and she is from Shawnee, KS. Grace is Majoring in Marketing and Sales with a minor in Leadership Studies. She is also getting the Business in Sports & Entertainment Certificate. As our Panhellenic Affairs Vice President, she acts as our chapter’s delegate in the greater Panhellenic community. Through this role, she is able to meet and communicate with other Greek Organizations about ways to better our chapter, Greek Community, and University as a whole. “I am a member of Silver Key Sophomore Honorary on campus as well as Women in Business. I work with the Collegian Media Group as an Account Executive on campus! I love the strong community of women and the home away from home that Gamma Phi has brought into my life! These girls are always down for anything and push me to be a better version of myself everyday! I am so grateful to be surrounded by such a supportive and genuine group of girls!”
